About this deal

Now that you have a front end launcher, you’ll want to set it as your default desktop and auto-start when you first boot Android. Be sure to setup your external controller in Emulationstation by hitting start then Configure Input. This will allow your external controller to navigate the Emulationstation menu and Retroarch based emulators

Note: To change the controller setup, you'll have to manually edit the controller configuration via SSH at /opt/mupen64plus/InputAutoCfg.ini. You can refer to this link for corresponding sdl button numbering. Once completed, Hit the B button twice, then scroll down to Configuration file, hit the A button then scroll down to Save Current Configuration and Hit the A button again.Your older consoles such as NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, and PS1 will play flawlessly on this thing, and so it should, that level of emulation has been around for years for much cheaper. No dreamcast support? 1.6 ghz should be enough for most games. Also there are tons of games for dreamcast without… I've added the roms to the appropriate folder, but once I put the SD card inside the console it doesn't seem to find my roms. Depending on your firmware choice, everything mostly “just works” out of the box. Many CFWs come pre-configured with the best settings for each emulator

So after looking at a few variations and different companies who make these i decided to take the plunge and its so worth the money!

ArkOS is a great firmware that’s been around for a while so it’s a great OS with lots of development behind it. This OS provides a lot more configuration options for those of you that love to tinker with settings. It comes with all of the emulators you’ll need to play the games you want. To exit the emulator, hit the Start button then select exit in the menu for most paks or hit Select+Start. When you first boot into Android on the RG353 device, you’ll be presented with a pretty empty screen. The basic things you’ll need to know First off, I have to pay my respects to ANBERNIC. Over the last few months I have absolutely slated their products, the RG552 I hated, the RG353P was okay, and then their release of the Win600 just finished me off and I even said it in the video “ I hate where ANBERNIC is heading”. I'm so disappointed that they decided (thx to the Miyoo Mini success) that they had to do a smaller device compared to the RG351V (which had the perfect size for big hands).

After initially launching on PC, indie title Dave the Diver launches today on the Nintendo Switch. Should you take the plunge? START: Open highlighted directory in destination panel. If a file is highlighted, open current directory in destination panel. You’ll want make sure that you have a second SD card where you will load up all of your ROMs. This is not required but I highly recommend it. Insert your blank SD card into the device in the TF2 slot and format the card as external storage. The next thing I did was restart the system into the Linux OS and have it configure the SD card with the Linux file structure. This makes it easier to use a single card for both OS. You can see more on this in my Starter’s Guide for the RG353 Most distributions contain PortMaster which is a fantastic tool that helps to install old (and some new) linux/PC games that are playable on the RG353
