About this deal

With unforgettable stories about his rise to fame, his biggest regrets and his special bond with his beloved mum, The decade that changed my future is as warm and honest, enormously entertaining and full of surprises as its brilliant Sunday Times bestselling author. Funny and outspoken, Rylan is one of the UK's most-loved presenters and a true household name. Rylan first emerged on our screens in September 2012 and in the ten years since then has become a one-of-a-kind national treasure.

Friends stars ‘utterly devastated’ after Matthew Perry’s death as cast release heartbreaking joint statement This is Rylan as you've never seen him before - an intimate, fascinating and joyful insight into an extraordinary ten years on the telly and in our hearts. months later, in September 2022, Rylan candidly opened up about his health battles following his split from Dan.

I completely changed my opinion of Rylan in Big Brother, and he is the sort of person I could imagine having in my circle of friends. But Rylan comes across as a nice guy who’s been through some shit recently with the breakdown of his marriage. I think he has a bit more healing to do and I think he might have written this too soon. I love a memoir that goes behind what I’ve seen but in a different way (in this case, Big Brother, X Factor) and he certainly shares the gossip. He does a lot of name dropping and parts I feel like he thinks he can do no wrong but that’s not a criticism, it’s positive affirmation like that that will help him through the bad times. He also revealed that his mum and big brother Jamie as well as his managers “arranged for me to go to a mental health hospital”. The chapter on his breakdown was quite hard to read, so I it was definitely good to just do one chapter that was dark, then talk about happier parts. Rylan writes with warmth and humour and is honest, down to earth and keeps it real as he recounts the events and shows that have shaped him over the past decade.

Rylan has opened up about his health and his marriage breakdown in his new book (Credit: ITV) Rylan Clark book He has obviously gone through a hard time separating from his husband, although it sounds like he is better off without him in his life, and I hope he finds the happiness he deserves! He continued: “During this time, Mum secretly arranged for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford to come and see me. They are two of my closest friends in this industry – well, almost step-parents really. Takes approximately 1-3 working days to arrive, (but can take longer during busy periods like bank holidays or Pride Month)I'm not really sure where to start with this book, there were bits that were very good and there were bits that were not. The book is centred around the breakdown of Rylan's/Ross' marriage and the subsequent impact this had on him and these parts are well written and impactful but other areas of the book fell short.

Instead, the 33-year-old chose not to reveal the most painful details from his failed marriage, which left him battling with his mental health last year. ROYAL MAIL STRIKES DURING NOVEMBER & DECEMBER 2022 WILL DELAY DELIVERIES. THE LATEST UPDATE ON THE STRIKE DATES CAN BE VIEWED HERE . I knew it wasn’t right. It turned out that my heart had to be restarted. I remember laying in resus and I had all these pads on with all these wires and not understanding what it was,” he said. Although I don't religiously follow what's going on in his life, I do hear snippets on the radio or see bits spoken about in groups, and when I heard he had a book coming out that spoke about the vulnerable side of him, I wanted to read it.However much I wanted to keep reading, it was almost a bit too much 'I'm goody two shoes and everyone loves me' for me and having people write about how amazing he was just felt a bit boring. He’s unashamedly honest about his desire to be famous and this talks a lot about his marriage break up and the people around him. He is very sweary 🤣 There will be stuff that you know [Alex Jones] that isn't in the book but it's my book and this is my responsibility and it's on me. I think for many years I had felt a bit like an imposter. That nothing I was doing was right or not quite good enough.
