About this deal

Is there a handy list of DC Omnibus/Absolute editions somewhere? I was trying to piece together several Vertigo series i loved reading in the 90s via TPB, but these HC editions are much nicer on my bookshelf. I know of the following

Goldstein, Hilary (December 19, 2005). "The 25 Best Vertigo Books". IGN. Archived from the original on May 18, 2014. The choice for No. 1 was not even close. There is Sandman and then there is everything else. However, if you want to know more about how Sandman came to be and how Neil Gaiman wove him into the existing DC Universe, read on for an explanation of the four main Sandmen of the DC Universe. Golden Age Sandman, Wesley Dodds She was previously known as Delight as seen only in “Brief Lives” in The Sandman (1989) #42 & 47, The Sandman: Overture (2013) #3, and The Sandman: Endless Nights. She changed her name and nature due to some unknown event. You can also binge-read The Sandman on the DC Universe Infinite service. Morpheus Helm Masterpiece Edition

Hurvid, James (n.d.). " The Sandman – Series Review". Whatever Comics. Archived from the original on December 8, 2015 . Retrieved February 8, 2015. it’s very liberating actually, having one that is the pure control that means that we know where the doors are open for Netflix and where we can go, “Okay, well, this character is male in the original, is there any particular reason why this character has to be male? Oh, there was no point at which this character desperately needs to use their penis to stir tea or something. Let’s change that and see.”” The first volume was nominated for the 2012 Bram Stoker Award for Best Non-Fiction. [74] Omnibus edition [ edit ] Hibberd, James (November 30, 2010). "Comic icon The Sandman TV series in works". The Hollywood Reporter. Archived from the original on June 10, 2014 . Retrieved April 20, 2011. After Sandman, Destiny appeared in The Dreaming (1996) #5-6, Lucifer (2000) #51-52, as well as in his own series, Destiny: A Chronicle of Deaths Foretold (1997) #1-3, detailed below.

The Absolute Sandman, Vol. 2, collecting The Sandman #21–39. Extras include the Desire story "The Flowers of Romance" from Vertigo: Winter's Edge #1, script and pencils for The Sandman #23 ("Season of Mists: Chapter Two"), humorous biographies of the contributors, a section on DC's official "Sandman Month", a prose story from the box of the first Sandman statue detailing the statue's (fictional) history, and a complete reproduction of A Gallery of Dreams (a one-shot of Sandman-inspired art). Published October 2007. Also collects The New York World’s Fair Comics (1939) #1-2. The World’s Fair issues are also presented in full in The DC Comics Rarities Archives, Volume 1 In fact, Lyta Hall can be seen to be pregnant with Daniel in Infinity, Inc. #42 in 1987 – prior to the debut of Gaiman’s book!
