It was entertaining to see how all of them are still adjusting to fit their role in their very own way; like Loid and his spy-mind and Yor with her murderous thought that left Anya baffled all the time. Yor's assassin abilities!! From what we've seen, she seems awesome but i would love to see more of what she does as an assassin. Female assassins in books always hit the spot, so hopefully we see more of that 🤞🤞🗡🗡The story was designed as an introduction to the series for readers who were not familiar with the manga from its run on Shonen Jump+. It was published in July, so we basically ignored the seasonal time frame of the series and tried to make it feel a little more summery. Extra Mission 1 is included at the end of this volume, but said chapter canonically takes place before Chapter 10 - as the penguin plushie Anya receives from Loid appears in her room. This volume is even better than the first! I was howling in laughter at many moments. And this manga is dark at times, but it's balanced out with humor, action and sweetness (and some dramatic irony, which I ADORE). The actual mission ig? Not that we aren't seeing it, it is definitely one of the main points of the series, but I feel like we didn't see too much of it in this volume.... The overall vibes of this series are just immaculate. Like, a story with action and spies, also feeling like the cutest, funniest comedy?? I love it 😍💗 It's so effortlessly entertaining and I just love seeing all the trouble these characters get themselves into.
