I was hired to illustrate an ambitious Pop-up book featuring iconic scenes from the Netflix series 'Stranger Things'. The book includes 5 huge multi-pop spreads designed by the incredible paper engineer Simon Arizpe. After the success of the film I was approached by the creators to help design a working pop-up book to be sold to the public based on the book used in the film. the teenagers and young adults in the room gasped and screamed and unleashed their psychic abilities with apparent delight." It was a fantastic experience, highly recommended. The staff are in character throughout the experience and the staff in the starcourt area are very friendly.

Partnering with La Mer Skincare to design, engineer, and illustrate ocean pop-up displays for their ‘Blue Heart’ collection. The venue is extremely well-done! Everything — from the music, to the lighting and acting of the characters — ensures a deep dive into the Stranger Things series, and you feel like you’re a part of it. IMMERSIVE FORMAT:Dynamic 360-format allows participation from all sides, while interactive flaps and pull tabs reveal hidden surprises throughout the book. Sadly, you won’t able to get your fix within the coming days, as the book won’t actually be hitting shelves until August 30. In the meantime, the fourth season is still fresh enough that you can probably rewatch it in a couple of weeks and still be entertained while you wait. That… or you can try to find something else to watch with that Netflix subscription, which would probably be a good idea. It was an amazing experience. I traveled a long distance by road & glad the experience was worth it.
