About this deal

The first you’ll come across is The Queen Victoria. This has got a lovely pub garden and it was really busy when I walked past. Usually when we go out on these walks, we’re spending all day out and about in the countryside. Because of that, there are some things that we always bring with us and recommend to others. Hopefully one or two of these items can help make your walk that little bit more enjoyable! Around Sarratt Bottom we opened a gate which featured the sign ‘cows with calves may be aggressive’. Sure enough, just ahead were several female cows, mostly with their calves in tow, although one was pregnant. Eat huge, juicy, fresh oysters, slathered with lemon, vinegar and tabasco, right on the pebbly beach looking out at the sea.

Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of returning the item/s, unless incorrect or faulty. Dine at Norwich’s best restaurant, Benedict’s, where chef Richard Bainbridge brings stories to life through his food. Well, my latest fave is AIM Escape Rooms over in Aldgate. I recently completed their Deja Brew “Hangover” themed escape room and it was brilliant. It was definitely one of the best I’ve done in a long time. It has glorious landscapes for walking and cycling and is also a top choice if you’re a keen angler. Kilchurn Castle is located by Loch Awe Loch MareeFor something extra special, go stargazing in the Brecon Beacons National Park. It’s the only International Dark Sky Reserve in Wales. There’s very little light pollution, so on a clear night you’ll see the stars shining brightly. You might even spot the milky way in all its glory. Ever been stargazing before? Grab a telesope and enjoy the view in Britain’s clear skies

There are a number of Epping Forest trails to choose from, but this one is definitely up there as my favourite. Suggested places to eat along the Oak Trail walk The Queen Victoria has a really big beer garden Pre-pandemic, going to the set of ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!’ meant flying 20 hours out to Queensland in Australia. Now that they’ve changed the filming location to Wales, it’s a lot easier pretending you’re on the show. It’s 10.5 miles long, one mile wide, and 219 feet (67 metres) deep. This is a really popular area for tourists visiting the Lake District so you’ll find plenty of attractions on the doorstep including a lake aquarium and a steam railway. It’s also a popular area for sailing and windsurfing. In fact, a whopping 10,000 boats are registered to Lake Windermere! UllswaterLocated in the north west of Wales, Portmeirion isn’t your average Welsh holiday hotspot. If someone blindfolded and placed you here, you’d be forgiven for thinking you had been whisked off to a colourful Italian village.

Llyn Tegid (or Bala Lake) is the largest natural lake in Wales. It has an approximate area of 1.8 square miles. Enjoy a clifftop walk from the stunning bay at Lulworth Cove to the region’s most famous landmark, Durdle Door. However, Essex takes the top spot for having the largest number of islands compared to any other county in England. There are 35 islands off the coast in Essex, Mersea Island being the biggest and most populated. Again, it is an amazing day out (unless you get caught and stranded on the island at low tide…) 8. Five American presidents came from Essex At this point, if you get lost, head towards the church spire. That’s where we’ll follow the next step of directions! Section 3: Ranmore Common to Denbies Wine Estate Look how pretty St Barnabas’ Church is!One of the most famous things about this special Welsh village? Shopping for Portmeirion Pottery, which was founded by Susan Williams-Ellis, the daughter of Sir Clough. You’ll probably be familiar with the designs, as it’s found in households around the world. You can plan your trip with our handy guide to visiting Portmeiron. Explore The Gower Peninsula We’ve got a lot of favourite walks near London, including the Henley circular walk, the Chorleywood circular walk (very close to this one!), the Amersham circular walk and the Ivinghoe Beacon walk.
