Sue would love to meet y Sue Watson was a TV Producer at the BBC until she wrote her first book and was hooked. It's the day I've been dreaming about my whole life. As I glide down the flower-strewn aisle overlooking the Greek orange groves, in my pearl-encrusted ivory gown, I finally see my fiancé Nik. We look like the perfect couple, but not all fairy tales have happy endings... It’s the day I’ve been dreaming about my whole life. As I glide down the flower-strewn aisle overlooking the Greek orange groves, in my pearl-encrusted ivory gown, I finally see my fiancé Nik. We look like the perfect couple, but not all fairy tales have happy endings… Any issues with the book list you are seeing? Or is there an author or series we don’t have? Let me know!

Overall, this was a fun reading experience with not so likeable characters (other than Alice's sister, Heather), psychological suspense, and a thrilling conclusion. I look forward to trying more of this author's books in the future! From the New York Times bestselling author of Pieces of Her and The Silent Wife, an electrifying standalone thriller. Alice was devastated when she was unable to have a child while married to Dan. Alcohol was her medication of choice to deal with distresses of infertility as well as some major problems during her marriage. A chance meeting with Dan and his current girlfriend, heavily pregnant, has Alice fleeing to Corfu in Greece and maybe she can forget some of her pain. Making a new friend in Sylvie and a potential beau when it comes to a handsome man named Nik, it just might be that Alice’s life has hit the reset button. This would come to fruition after she turned her hand to writing full-time, producing work in a style that was personal to her. Creating stories about real characters, she would establish worlds and narrative that were both witty and inventive in equal measure. Exploring all manner of story, she would write for a large audience, giving readers what they wanted, whilst creating something that was wholly authentic to her. Currently living in Worcestershire with her family, she continues to write to this present day, with a lot more to come yet. I was so tense… I had no idea what was going to happen from one chapter to the next… BOOM!! I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT ENDING AT ALL! I loved it! If I could rate it more than a 5, I would. This has been one of, if not the best thrillers I have read!… Loved, loved, loved it!’ Kindlewithdanni ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was not disappointed….we find ourselves in the beautiful island of Corfu ( you can almost smell the lemon scented air in the breeze ) where Alice has ‘found’ herself after a harrowing time in Tesco’s ( saying no more on that ) and basically her life goes from bad to good to great to abysmal all in a short time….. The pace is slow for most of the book. Alice, a divorcee, tries to escape her past in the UK and heads for the Greek island of Corfu. Before she knows it, Alice is getting married to Nik, and has a new best friend, the glamourous Sylvie. The tension and suspense build throughout this book. The characters are well developed, but Alice grated on my nerves. As the story progresses, everything is not quite as it seems, some things are just too good to be true. I felt the story dragged for a bit in the middle. There were a couple of predictable twists, but there was one big, fantastic twist I never saw coming. What a stunning domestic thriller! What are the twists? Well, we can start with Alice’s fuzzy memory issues. Is alcohol the reason that her memory is so spotty or could it be something else entirely unrelated? These are questions that even the most attentive reader might ask while reading this latest book by Sue Watson. To say that I found myself surprised is an understatement. Then, when you factor in the way the book came to an end with those additional twists thrown in, let’s just say this book was another excellent read.Sometimes I got a little annoyed with the main character, because on the one hand I thought that she was a lttle naive - but other times I thought that she was a little psycho... The thing is, Alice left legal problems behind in the UK. She also left her sister very worried about her, always a protective mother hen to her. Alice is determined to prove that she can make her own decisions in life even if that means staying in picturesque Greece. Nik owns a bountiful vineyard and it does not take Alice long to imagine being married to Nik at the vineyard and living an entirely new life. All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate. And by the time he finds out who I really am, it will be far too late. There’s only room for one happily-ever-after on this wedding day, and I’m determined to make it mine… Max soars above the world . . . but in James Patterson's thrilling adventure, fantasy can come crashing down to reveal the nightmares of the Angel Experiment.
