About this deal

Remember previously, there are generally only four boxes for AoS, so getting seven is really awesome even though it’s still one less than 40k! For the beginner hobbyist, the Stormcast Eternals are the perfect faction, and the Stormcast Thunderstrike box is quite possibly the best place to not only start collecting Stormcast Eternals, but to enter the hobby as a whole. Battle Report meanwhile pits the mighty new Astra Millitarum against the pus-filled legions of the Death Guard – will Imperial might prevail, or will they be ground into mush under the inexorable advance of Nurgle’s blight?

Really enjoyed reading that, factual, enlightening, interesting and humurous, not an easy combination to achieve. Christmas is coming. We’ve already seen this year’s new Warhammer 40,000 Battleforces, and it’s time to see what’s inside the Warhammer Age of Sigmar sets. Whichever Grand Alliance you’re a fan of, there’s a box for you. Finally, it’s not Christmas without the golden-clad warriors of the God-King! Start your own Dawnbringer Crusade with a Knight-Relictor , three heavily armed Annihilators , 10 Vanquishers , and 10 Vigilors armed with stormcaller bows. Finally, there’s a pair of swift and deadly Stormdrake Guards (one of which can alternately be built as a Knight-Draconis ). FauxHammer – Latest Video on YouTube Stormcast Eternals: Thunderstrike Brotherhood Review – SummaryThe flesh is weak, which is the perfect excuse to upgrade your MKVI Tactical Space Marines with a range of cold, hard, cog-toothed Iron Hands upgrades. The Holiday Battleforce Boxes are always a good time of year for Warhammer fans. This year, GW is releasing 7 boxes for Age of Sigmar and, quite frankly, we’d be pleased if we got any of these under our Christmas Tree. However, there are some boxes we’d be more excited to see than other. We do have favorites — and they aren’t based on the current win/loss ratio from the Metawatch. Based purely on which ones get us most excited this is our list from least excited to most hyped. Age of Sigmar Battleforce Boxes Ranked Obviously, there were some rumors disproven about what armies will actually be included for Battleforces in 2022, but there’s plenty to see now for what is coming this year for Christmas! Thunderstrike Armour is the number-one fashion choice amongst the ranks of the Stormcast Eternals right now. This Battleforce contains 26 miniatures, all clad in dashing metal suits, including two mightyStormdrake Guard on their draconith steeds.

The Sylvaneth wage war against the enemies of nature, but none are so cruel in their hunts as the Outcasts. These spirits are commanded by the monstrous Drycha Hamadreth , who is joined by 28 other miniatures hungry for the blood of those who transgress against Alarielle. Curseling, Eye of Tzeentch

Looking at this list, a few boxes of the same army (especially for 40k) come out almost every year, like Space Marines and Nids. It seems that lately, AoS has newer factions (but this year it looks like some repeats), whereas Warhammer 40k is a mix of both newer and older (like Guard in 2020). As I was going, I got to know the models. I began to learn their shapes and the patterns in their construction. Piecing together the Liberators was a brilliant confidence-building exercise for a brand-new hobbyist like I was – the models in the Start Collecting! kits are not as idiot-proof as the push-fit miniatures and are assembled with glue, which allows for just enough variable options to give the newly-initiated the freedom they need to make their first units their own. In spite of the faction’s mixed reception within the Warhammer community, the Start Collecting! Stormcast Eternals Thunderstrike Brotherhood may well be the best place to enter Age of Sigmar for a new hobbyist. Stormcast Eternals: Thunderstrike Brotherhood – Introduction

Thunderstrike Armour is the number-one fashion choice amongst the ranks of the Stormcast Eternals right now. This Battleforce contains 26 miniatures, all clad in dashing metal suits, including two mighty Stormdrake Guard on their draconith steeds.* Battleforce: Sylvaneth – Revenant WargroveDryads are in units of 10; but on sprues for 8… not ideal! Stormcast Eternaals – Thunderstrike Spearhead Warhammer Community / Games Workshop Unit What’s the most Christmassy sound? Jingle bells? Da Red Gobbo sneaking down the chimney? Nah, it’s a bunch of squigs all going booooooing! The Squiqalanche consists of a Loonboss on Giant Cave Squig , two Mangler Squigs (who can be ridden by Loonbosses ), 10 Squig Hoppers (who can be assembled as Boingrot Bounders), and a 12-strong Squig Herd . Don’t let their randomness fool you – there’s a LOT of gnashing teef in this army. Skaven: The Verminous Host Games Workshop recently dropped all sorts of teasers about the upcoming 2022 Christmas releases, including something spicy about battleforces! Obviously, some repeat SM (some flavor of Marine), Chaos (of sorts), and Xenos. However, this year there somehow isn’t a single Xenos faction included… This is a great mix of armies and options to choose from. For the most part, snagging any of these is a fantastic starting point for a new army or a great way to expand an existing one. For lots of these options you could simply get this box, maybe a Vanguard Box, and the Battletome and you’d basically have a 2000 point army ready to go. Just add water(…to your paints to thin them).
