Please note: If using the Rugbuddy on a tiled or screeded floor, we recommend using carpet underlay underneath for thermal efficiency. This can also be bought at any carpet or flooring supplier. That's why we offer a comprehensive warranty on all of our underfloor heating products, with a lifetime warranty for our ProWarm range of products. Beneath tile and stone floors we recommend installing our standard heating mat or heating cable. If the floor base is concrete the system can be laid directly onto the floor and skimmed with tile adhesive or covered with a latex screed. The tiles or stone can then be laid directly on top. This method ensures the heating system will have a fast heating up time and maintains a low build height.
