Delivery of goods by the Auctioneer must be agreed with Manager which will incur charges depending on distance. the Auctioneer and staff will take reasonable care of the goods whilst in the Auction house premises. All lots must be paid for on the date of the Sale or the next working day before 12pm and must be collected on the sale date or the next working day before 3pm. The Buyer is responsible for the cost of transport removal from the auction premises. All Buyers will be deemed to have full knowledge of these Conditions and to agree to be bound by them.
In about a week I’m receiving an Eskute Electric Bike to test – this is also a good budget option, but has a 48v 10Ah battery so the potential range will be considerably higher (than the Vitesse). lots not paid for and collected before 3pm on the Mondaywill result in the lots re-lotted and sold in the next auction. Some minor assembly is required. Vitesse is a new electric bike that has been getting a lot of buzz lately. I was intrigued by all the hype and decided to do a review. Overall, I was very impressed with the Vitesse. It’s a great option for those looking for an alternative to traditional bikes or cars. The bike is extremely lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it ideal for city riding. The motor provides enough power to get up hills without breaking a sweat and the battery lasts long enough for a full day of riding. I’ve had a look over the specification and the Vitesse Rush uses basic Shimano 7-speed gearing with Tektro v-brakes. These components are used on thousands of different bikes the world over and are usually very reliable and very cheap to replace if they ever do go wrong. The Tektro v-brakes will provide the adequate stopping power and are easy to adjust and simple to replace pads when they wear out. There’s also a front suspension fork to take the sting out of potholes and rougher terrain. Accessories My ignition light is on at rest and with the engine idling, so maybe I can assume the cut out is currently working?, before I replace the dynamo. There’s a company in Exeter called custom built e-bikes who specialise in Bafang conversions. I’m further down in Cornwall but wouldn’t be able to do anything for a couple of months. It might be worth having a chat with your local bike shop – anyone with a basic knowledge of bicycle maintenance should be able to fit a Bafang mid-drive. Lots must be collected on the sale date or the next working day before 3pm failure to do so will result in storage fees depending on the size of the goods. If reliability and after sales support are important, your best bet would be to buy a ready-built e-bike from a trusted local bike shop that has a good reputation within the local community. E-Bikes are great when they’re running well but can be a total pain if they go wrong. Small hub motors are generally far more reliable than mid-drives (like the BBS01B) and they are cheap to fix or replace if they do go wrong.
