Both the dirt box and the water tank come in at a capacity of around 0.6l. For vacuuming, that means emptying the G10 a couple of times each week if you run it daily. For mopping, that means around 60 square metres of cleaning – about the same size as a quarter of a tennis court. Eufy recommends not adding detergent to the water tank due to the risk of damaging the tank itself. That does mean that the mopping jobs are ultimately somewhat superficial, and you’ll need a regular mop for any ground in stains. However, for keeping the floors shiny and free of light spillages and dust, it certainly gets the job done. Battery and Charging

Technically yes, but it’s not designed to and there’s not much room for compromise either. The suction power is enough to clean carpets – this device puts out the same suction as the Eufy RoboVac 15C MAX, which is our highest rated robot vacuum overall at the time of writing. However, with different brushes, the G10 isn’t as effective. Carpets can also interfere with the onboard mapping and navigation on this device. So, in the simplest terms, I’d have to say don’t buy this robovac if you have carpets or rugs! Does the Eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid Cope with Pet Hair? This wasn’t too much of a problem as it’s very quiet while mopping, so you can happily watch tv or talk to friends in the same room while it cleans. We found the mopping could only provide a light clean – it was more of a wipe – as it does not apply any pressure to the floor. So we wouldn’t recommend throwing out your mop quite yet as you’ll need it to deal with any tough stains. The robot also can’t tell the difference between floor surfaces, so you need to keep an eye on it to prevent it from attempting to mop the carpet!
