About this deal

If someone lifts the mower, an alarm will sound; this is to prevent someone else from programming the mower and to deter theft. The owner needs to enter the PIN-code to stop the alarm from sounding.

The Flymo EasiLife 200 is waterproof, but mowing in the rain may damage the grass. In association with LawnSense, the EasiLife 200 will pause the mower’s schedule until the weather improves. This mower’s random pattern of mowing is governed by the SensorCut system making this mower especially good for small gardens with complex shapes or many angles. The SafePassage feature successfully guides the mower through narrow passages without bumping along the sides, as long as the passage is wider than 60cm. By defining multiple start points along the guide wire, this tells the robot how far to follow the guide wire when leaving the charging station before it starts to cut. For each start point you define, you can choose the frequency that the mower starts from that point so it focuses its cutting in a specific section of your lawn. Flymo recommends a common dish-brush to clean the blades and the wheels. There are three small blades, which can pivot to prevent damage if they collide with a solid object. EasiLife 500 has mulching mowers; they do not collect clippings, nor do they have side chutes where you would have to rake up the clippings later. The idea is that you can fertilize the lawn with the grass clippings and reduce the amount of fertiliser you use. Win/win situation.Lithium-ion batteries do have a maximum limit to the amount of times they can be charged. However, you should get several years of use, depending on your schedule, before the battery needs replacing. But when the cells come to the end of their lives, EasiLife batteries are readily available and easy to change. This is one of Flymo’s many smart technologies, which aims to preserve the machinery and to give you the best lawn. The program calculates the best times and duration to mow the lawn. LawnSense gives the grass time to recover from earlier cuts and allows the mulched grass to fertilize the lawn. FrostSense The Flymo EasiLife 200 is a robotic mower built in the UK and designed for lawns up to 200m². It has a cutting width of 16cm, height adjustment from 20mm to 50mm, has 3 good quality pivoting razor blades for a precise and clean cut. The Flymo EasiLife 200 has an onboard keypad and LCD display and can also be controlled via the a smartphone app. This robotic mower comes supplied with a charging station, 100m of boundary wire and 150 pegs.

The EasiLife 500 robotic lawn mower will cut 500 square metres of grass with complete autonomy. A trilogy of small blades cut through grass with great precision, and the various on-board sensors keep the machine safe. In most cases, you would buy a robotic lawn mower to maintain a lawn that has already recently been cut. However, my rough and bumpy lawn (which used to be a field) hadn’t been cut since the early autumn, and this machine was set up in March, meaning that there was a fair bit of lush spring growth for the lawn mower to munch through. But that’s where a robot lawn mower really comes in handy. These modern machines provide you with a way to stay on top of lawn maintenance without actually having to lift a finger; aside from the set up, that is. Flymo has a few different robotic lawn mowers available, with each one designed to cut a lawn of a specific size. This machine is the smallest and was designed for a small lawn, with a maximum cutting area of 150m² . Its 16cm cutting width is well-suited for a lawn of this size, and the cutting height ranges from 20-50mm . Unfortunately, it hasn’t been designed to make adjusting the cutting height an easy task. Rather than giving you a dial to turn, you’ll need to flip the lawn mower over, pull up some casing, and manually adjust the blade height from there. For complete coverage of even the most complex shaped lawns. Remote starting points allow the robot to intelligently find its way to harder to reach parts of the lawn and make sure every part is cut evenly. When it comes to finding the best robotic lawnmower for your lawn, it’s important to consider the size and layout of your lawn, as well as the features and functions that meet your requirements. With robotic lawnmowers ranging from a few hundred pounds to several thousand pounds, it’s essential to find one that fits your budget and provides years of trouble-free mowing. The Yard Force Compact 280R Robotic Lawnmower is a basic robot lawnmower that gets the job done. It has a very simple schedule that requires you to take regular action if you want a different one. But it does have powerful (radar) sensing technology to avoid obstacles and to know where it is in your mowing area. The brushless motor uses the battery power efficiently and grass clippings are left on the lawn as mulch, another efficient decision. By selecting Park, on either the App or on the control panel, the mower will disregard any other commands and return to the charging station. The 350 will also Park the mower by choosing Standby and pause operations for up to 18 hours.

LawnMaster – if you are looking for a robotic mower that is simple to set up and budget friendly, then the LawnMaster L10 may be the mower for you. Bluetooth app available for your smartphone (Android and iPhone) for programming and control of the mower. The EasiLife 500 relies on a range of sensors to run around a lawn and keep the operation safe. This unit comes with a roll of wire that acts as an invisible radio boundary around the limits of the lawn. First-time owners will need to install this wire with the grass staples supplied.

These robotic mowers are powered by rechargeable batteries but what’s great about them is that you don’t even need to worry about remembering to put them on charge. They’re smart machines that will automatically return to their charging station when they need a power boost. Once you’ve set them up, it really is a case of just letting them get on with it. PassageSense is another feature promoted by the brand. This enables the lawn mower to make its way through passages of at least 60cm in width. I tested this out by adjusting the boundary and guide wires and, again, it worked well. The App I can also definitely confirm that this machine’s FrostSense feature works well! It has a sensor that keeps the machine in its base when the temperature is 4°C or lower. Being located in the north of Scotland means that there are several spring days in which the temperature struggles to rise above this, so my Flymo spent a fair bit of March snoozing in its base.
