Himiko's surname contains the kanji for "migrate" ( 渡 , to ?) and "self" ( 我 , ga ?), and her first name contains "wear, put on" ( 被 , hi ?), "somebody" ( 身 , mi ?), and "child," which is also a feminine name suffix ( 子 , ko ?). Transform ( 変 ( へん ) 身 ( しん ) , Henshin ?): Himiko's Quirk grants her the ability to transform into a physical lookalike of another individual, as well as copy their voice. She can only transform into people whose blood she has ingested. The more blood she drinks, the longer she has access to that person's form. For example, 1 cup of blood lets her transform for a total of 18 hours. She can switch between the appearances of multiple people if she drinks the blood of more than one person. She can even duplicate a person's clothing, though, her own clothes would overlap the transformation, requiring her to get naked beforehand. Due to TV regulations in Japan, Himiko couldn't be naked in the original broadcasts of episodes where she was supposed to be. Instead, the footage was altered to look like she was wearing a kind of light skin tone body suit under her disguises. This was changed in the home releases of the series. During the the Final War after drinking a portion of Twice's blood, she was able to completely turn the tables by utilizing his Double Quirk to make hundreds of copies of herself to overwhelm the Heroes. According to Kohei Horikoshi, Himiko is the hardest to illustrate of all the female characters he has created so far, her eyes and hair being particularly difficult.
