The Instant Pot Pro Crisp + Air Fryer is one of the electric pressure cooker models made by Instant Brands. They call it their “Instant Pot that air fries” model because it combines their pressure cooking features with an air fryer. The latest version of this pressure cooker + air fryer takes a few things from the Duo Evo Plus including the inner line design pressure cooking lid, and dial-based front panel. Both pressure cookers have an auto-seal lid which is a nice feature to keep you from forgetting to do that step when you start cooking. The main feature of this Instant Pot is that you can control it from your phone. You can change the settings and functions through the app, and access a database of over 1500 recipes. This also means that you can set up cooking times remotely, and receive push notifications on your phone when your food is ready. Instant and Ninja offer a large range of multi-cookers and some are more basic than others so we’ll focus again on the Instant Pot Duo Crisp and the Ninja Foodi 11-in-1 Pro Pressure Cooker. We’ve listed the features each has below.

Here, they took just 10 minutes, and the results were remarkable: The flesh was tender and creamy and the cut side of the spuds was crispy, as was the skin. Admittedly, the potatoes didn’t turn the same golden brown color that they would have if I’d roasted them in the oven, but a few extra minutes in the air fryer would have taken care of that.
