About this deal

The Princess shook hands with each of the officers in turn until she reached the end of the line, when she was introduced to the head of the Met’s murder investigation teams.

My pleasure, ma’am,’ said Sir Peter, before turning to the welcoming party of senior officers who were waiting in line. A passion, ma’am. But it was my wife Beth, who’s keeper of pictures at the Fitzmolean, who chose the name.’ The fact she disobeyed you probably means she’ll be the most interesting person I’ll meet today,’ whispered Diana as the lift doors closed. ‘Why did you call her Artemisia?’ The book tells the testimonies of guys born worlds apart. They don’t have anything in common besides the same date of birth and an eagerness to reach life. William Lowell Kane is a rich and effective elite magnificence, whilst Abel Rosnovski is a pole who was born in a scenario of wonderful poverty and finally migrated to the United States. Abel moves to America through escaping to Siberia and Turkey in the height of World War I. He built his way right from the bottom to become a wealthy hotel chain owner. William’s father dies and his step-father mishandles their wealth. He is determined to bring things under control and build a name for himself as a top banker. Both of them are consumed by the desire to make it in life and discredit their critics and are fueled by hatred for the people and circumstances which made life difficult for them while growing up. When their paths eventually cross, they become enemies and each purposes to destroy the other. In 1985, CBS made Kane and Abel into a television mini-series.

Biography of Jeffrey Archer

He was a Member of Parliament and deputy chairman of the Conservative Party, and became a life peer in 1992. His political career, having suffered several controversies, ended after a conviction for perverting the course of justice and his subsequent imprisonment. He is married to Mary Archer, a scientist specialising in solar power. Outside politics, he is a novelist, playwright and short story writer. He has a way to introduce A Twist in the Tale ( no pun intended), but have always found his books fast paced having-meticulously planned plots, that hardly seems unreal.

Running parallel to this is the story of a jailed criminal with an interest in fine art, and a private collection that would make many green with envy. Fascinating, Chief Inspector, would be a better description of the past hour,’ replied the Princess as William accompanied her out of the museum. But the plot was good, I liked the layers, and the twists and turns, the characters and how they interacted with each other and I was especially pleased when the book ended satisfactorily, with all questions answered.
