You can’t see it very well in my picture, but it’s an all gold compact with mirror effect. It is very pretty and quite “bling”. My shade: 21 Beige (it’s a bit pink, because on the lighter shades, the brand wanted to emphasize the “brightening rosy” effect with this product. But on my skin, it’s fine, it doesn’t look too pink).

The push down mechanism is what makes the the foundation unique. It’s convenient, hygienic, controllable and innovative. The only downside is that you can’t see how much is left. You can, however, buy refills for the foundation and concealer at a cheaper price to the original product. I love that about many Korean base products. This is the big selling point of the brand and I tested it once or twice in Dubai where it’s already 30 degrees during the day. It resists rather well compared to others, but in the places where the mask rubs, the product still comes off a little. But you can reapply over it with no problem and it stays flawless until the evening!Foundation is the crucial element that will determine how the rest of the makeup will look. It determines how the blush, bronzer, concealer, powder, and highlighter will apply and look on top of it. It is good, everything will blend seamlessly. However, if it is not, then products will not look very nice on the skin and that is generally easy to tell. There are many types of foundations available on the market, ranging from liquids to powders with creams and mousses in between there as well. But cushion foundations seem to be loved the most. And there is no doubt that K-beauty brands make some of the most remarkable cushion products out there. The Korean cushion foundation is perhaps the most widely used and loved product by people all over the world. Foundation: Polybutene Trimethylolpropane, TriethylhexanoateTitanium, Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica (CI 77019), Talc, Ceresin, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polyethylene, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Microcrystalline Wax, Sorbitan Isostearate, VP/Hexadecene Copolymer, Silica Silylate, Methicone, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Silica, Caprylyl Glycol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Tin Oxide (CI 77861), Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Iron Oxides (CI 77499) You can feel it a bit, depending on how much you’ve used. It’s pretty comfortable and moisturizing though. Iridescent purple with the brand name, flashy! Plus, it’s magnetic. Hera is a luxury brand, pretty trendy, and you can definitely feel it! Very lightweight and comfortable to wear. It leaves the skin comfortable and moisturized until the evening.

This collection from the brand Rom&nd is inspired by traditional Korean craftsmanship. The whole collection (released last winter) is sublime ( Odile Monod wrote about it in one of her articles if you want to see it in detail)!The 3 shades of the collection all have different pearl colors, it’s incredibly beautiful (I wanted to buy the other shades just to collect them but I decided it wasn’t reasonable 😅). About the shade I’m wearing, to give you an indication, I am a shade NC15-20 with MAC, I have fair skin with a rather neutral undertone. With most cushion brands, I use shade 21 or 22 if it’s available. I also sometimes use shade 23 if shade 21 has a pink undertone (I don’t like it on me) and it usually goes on better. The concealer is harder in texture. I usually prefer more creamy concealers, but JSM claims the differing consistencies help the wear time, and this actually seems to have worked out true. I’ve been blending the concealer with a tiny spot of foundation on the mixing palette area in the compact, because I do find it too hard texture to go in with alone. I’ve then been patting in the product with my finger to avoid dragging on my skin, particularly under my eyes.
