A modern, feisty heroine… Georgia had me rooting for Lily’s happy ever after right from the start.’ Jo Bartlett, Bestselling author of The Cornish Midwife series Though nothing is smooth sailing and there were plenty of clashes and also rather emotional moments. Plus the book starts with the biggest amount of the accident that we have seen between the four books, from 10 years ago, where things changed for all four of the friends, and it also changed Henry's life that night too.

As if she'd cast a spell over him, over the estate, and he was beginning to see less of the past and more of the future. During our Sofreh Aghd, one of the beloved Persian wedding traditions where two sugar cones are rubbed together by married women to shower the couples with sweetness. Photo: La Dichosa The main focus of this series, other than romance, is the female friendship of the women in the group. This was the case again in this book and it’s something I always enjoy reading about. The county of Devon also plays a big part in the series and as with the other books, the setting is beautifully described.

When Henry needs Lily’s help, she will only agrees to come to his aid if the wedding can go ahead. Working together means both must face their pasts, and in doing so might just realise something about their future along the way 👀 Strong's 1062: A marriage, wedding, wedding-ceremony; plur: a wedding-feast. Of uncertain affinity; nuptials. The characters are robust, and we have followed them through before. I think you could read this as a stand-alone novel, as there is enough to cover not knowing the rest of the series. I enjoyed the ending, a perfect end to a delightful series.

Henry wants nothing more than to return to Hawke's Cove, sell his estranged late father's estate and leave. He certainly does not want to host a wedding, or face Lily, who gets on with everyone - except him! At first Lily intends to try to sweet talk Henry into allowing Victoria's wedding to continue, especially since his father had fully intended it to take place on the Estate, but when they meet she is so incensed that she lays into him and calls him names. They part on bad terms, until Henry realises he needs Lily to host an Estate tour and wine tasting for a potential buyer and his wife. In return, Henry has to promise to host Victoria's wedding. Maybe it was the common references to food that also peaked my interest - I mean, I so want an almond croissant right now, let alone some of the meals that Lily cooks up at the restaurant 🤤🤤 Lily loves living in Hawke’s Cove, and planning her best friend’s wedding at the Hawkesbury estate is the icing on the cake. But when the estate’s owner dies, and his son cancels the wedding, Lily must face Henry Hawkesbury – a man she hasn’t seen since that fateful night ten years ago… Every time Lily Atwell punched a fist into the icing she was kneading, she imagined Henry Hawkesbury's face.

I thought this was a fantastic conclusion to the series and I loved how it ended! The relationships and friendships and interactions between the characters are so enjoyable! If you're a reader of the series, you're going to love how the “Awesome Four” friendships get some time to shine, as a newcomer to the series, I didn't feel like the previous couples overtook or over stayed their welcome, just made me want to go get their books and read about their romances. Henry even gets some time with his own friend and readers get to see an important other side to him in the beginning. I would have liked Lily to have even more time with her mother because of how sweet their relationship seemed to be. This was fairly low angst but with some emotional issues, if that makes sense. I liked how it was shown how friendships change after romantic partners come into the picture and how Lily did feel lonely but happy for her already partnered friends. This book starts off with a recount of the accident that we hear in reference throughout the four books, this was definitely the most intense and thorough telling of it and is quite a tough chapter. Maybe more so as it feels like you know all of the girls by this point… Reuniting her “awesome foursome” of friends from Meet Me in London , bestselling celebrity author Georgia Toffolo ’s charming enemies-to-lovers rom-com is an undeniably tart and sweet treat. The next day there was a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,

Funnily enough, Alexander and I started dating this same day (4/21), five years ago. Full circle moment for us. Photo: La DichosaThree days later Mary, the mother of Jesus, was at a wedding feast in the village of Cana in Galilee.
