About this deal
Mr Muscle Max Gel comes in two 1-litre bottles. The amount you’ll pour down the drain depends on the extent of the clogging. Given its potency, exercise extreme caution when handling it. One customer learnt the hard way how dangerous the cleaner can be especially if it gets in the eyes.
Before anything else, read the instructions on the label or leaflet. Drain cleaners are dangerous if handled improperly. Let the cleaner sit in the drain for the recommended amount of time. This is usually half an hour though others recommend leaving it overnight for best results. May be corrosive to metals. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. For large families, a bigger bottle is better. It’ll ensure you always have some on hand to clear any slow-running drain.I recommend getting a ready-to-use drain cleaner that doesn’t require any preparation such as diluting or mixing with anything.
Liquid cleaners are generally more effective at removing clumps of hair and soap as well as deposits of oil, grease and biofilm. b. Amount As the name suggests, the cleaner gobbles up all kinds of clogs including hair, soap, oils and grease. But for families, buying a single-use drain cleaner is inconvenient and more expensive. Get a large 1-2 litre bottle instead that you can re-use.In this instance, all you have to do is adjust the amount of each component you add. Thus, in the bathroom, you’ll add a 2-1 ratio of bottle B to bottle A, and in the kitchen, you’ll invert the ratios. There is a minimum time requirement, which in this case is one hour. However, as we always recommend, leaving it overnight is your best bet. If you’ve tried boiling water and other options before trying this extra strong one, leaving it overnight is probably your best bet. Afterwards, the manufacturer recommends 100ml of the cleaner into the drain weekly to keep it from clogging. If you’re cooking something that leaves a lot of fat on your pan, put it in a container and throw it away since fat is heavier than water and attaches to the U-Bend in your plumbing system, eventually clogging it.
