About this deal

The Nerf Elite 2.0 Turbine CS-18 blaster has 4 tactical rails and a barrel attachment point so you can customize it for each mission or battle. This motorized blaster has an 18-dart clip and launches darts fast -- hold down the acceleration button to power up the motor, then press the trigger for rapid-fire blasting. Includes 36 Official Nerf darts -- load 18 in the clip and keep the other 18 nearby for reloads. Fires darts up to 90 feet (27 meters). Eyewear recommended. Barrel extension and eyewear not included. Batteries required (not included). The 4 tactical rail plug-in rails, to which accessories can be attached, make your battles even better with additional features. Let’s be honest – the Elite 2.0 line hasn’t had the best start. Hasbro may have opted for easy-to-manufacture blasters, but doing so resulted in some nasty compromises. The blasters still perform well, but some of them ( like the Phoenix) have things like painful mag releases. Elite 2.0 was first leaked online in early 2020, with imageless listings for most of its products popping up on numerous online retail stores. Starting in June, images of the blasters gradually began to surface.

The Flipshots sub-series features blasters that have a "flipping" mechanic that allows the user to switch between two sets of barrels of darts. Elite 2.0, as its name suggests, is a spiritual successor to the 2012 N-Strike Elite series. Its blasters feature a similar design to those seen in later releases of N-Strike Elite, with the exception that the blasters are now teal and orange in color, rather than blue and orange. Most blasters include double their intended firing capacity worth of darts. Loading System: Just as diverse as NERF’s wide range of firing mechanisms is the brand’s array of loading systems. These range from breach-loaded setups to belt and mag-fed items to paintball-style hoppers. Quite a few contemporary NERF Blasters also come equipped with onboard ammo or magazine storage.

Performance

INCLUDES 36 NERF DARTS: Comes with 36 Official Nerf darts to fully load the 18-dart clip -- and 18 more darts so you're ready for reloads. Fire, reload, and fire some more! The base of the barrel attachment point is way too thin, causing the barrel to move around when moving, which will decrease performance and accuracy. The Turbine is featured as a weapon in Nerf Ultimate Championship, and the Roblox game Nerf Strike. In terms of aesthetics, you’re going to love the aggressive look or hate it. I haven’t found many people in that middle ground. I do like the look…but that’s very subjective.

FIRES DARTS UP TO 90 FEET (27 METERS): Go the distance with this blaster that fires darts up to 90 feet (27 meters) If one were to add up all the holes in the metallic teal part of the shell, it would add up to exactly a hundred.Firing Mechanism: For years, pretty much every NERF Blaster was fired using a traditional trigger setup, though in more recent years the Hasbro-owned outfit has introduced a variety of lesser-conventional Blasters that sport a myriad of different firing mechanism configurations. UPGRADE-READY BLASTER: Customize the blaster for every battle or mission by taking advantage of 4 tactical rails and a barrel attachment point (barrel extension not included) Initial reception to Elite 2.0 was very mixed. While the inclusion of additional darts, an abundance of accessory attachment points, and the overall ergonomics of Elite 2.0 blasters have been praised, the changes to how the blasters are assembled have been highly criticized. Many of the first Elite 2.0 blasters were assembled in a way that makes modification and repairs difficult. While blasters are still held together by standard screws and/or pressure clips, as introduced in the Alpha Strike line of blasters, many others are also ultrasonically or solvent-welded together. The quality of the plastic used in production has also been called "thin", compared to previous or other releases, and some parts such as jam doors can be easily snapped off. Additionally, many of the metal springs in blasters have been replaced with plastic leaf springs, which are less strong and can break after long periods of time.
