I do like the small round brush heads. They are easy to move around the mouth and provide a great clean to the teeth. My hand’s on time achieved a maximum of 9 days or 18 brushing sessions of use. This is based on brushing twice a day for 2 minutes each time. Well the brushing time is usually what causes the variance, but the standard brushing time is 2 minutes, or at least it should be. Just be aware that bristles really only need to skim the teeth. Only a little brushing force is needed. More scrubbing pressure does not equal a better clean.
Smart Series: The Smart series builds on the Pro series with Bluetooth connectivity and basic smart features. Some models are quite old now, but still effective. Unlike more affordable alternatives, the Pro 1 does have a battery notification LED on the handle. It will flash red when the power is running out. A full recharge takes up to 12 hours. The battery LED will flash green whilst charging, before turning off once complete. You may also see the Pro 1 750 referred to as Pro 1 750 Design Edition, this is because the 750 comes with the added bonus of a travel case that will hold the handle and up to 2 brush heads. Of course much depends on your needs, wants and opinions. And the actual selling price at the time you are looking to buy has an impact too. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly it has not been designed to be easily repaired by yourself. Trying to replace parts like the battery will likely break the brush. This makes it more likely to be discarded rather than repaired if broken.The Pro 1 is the cheapest model in the Oral-B range to have a 3D cleaning motion rather than 2D. This means that in addition to the oscillating and rotating action, there are pulsations, which add a 3rd dimension to the cleaning effect for better results.
What’s more, it delivers an excellent clean, with three modes – Sensitive, Daily Clean and Whitening – that take you all the way from a softer brush that’s easy on the gums to a more intense polish that should help get rid of staining. Battery life, meanwhile, is exceptional; you’ll easily get through two weeks of brushing and probably three without a recharge. It’s the king of sensibly priced brushes and one of the easiest recommendations in the Oral-B range.

In practice, that means a quieter brush with a more comfortable vibration, and one that still leaves your incisors feeling polished and your molars super-clean, as well as doing a fantastic job of clearing plaque from between your teeth.
