Product Information

This product is intended to filter potable (drinking) water only. Do not put water of unknown quality into this product. Using a cold-water sterilising solution (following manufacturer guidelines for using with 1.8 litres of water), add required amount to the water tank. Fill the tank to the max line with cold water and place a suitable container under the dispenser spout. Before first use you need to run a cleaning cycle – which should take approximately 10 minutes. For hygiene and safety reasons you should clean your unit on a regular basis. Small particles of carbon may be in the bag or on the surface of your filter. These dust particles are harmless and will be reduced during the initial set up process when submerging in clean fresh water. Always ensure good hygiene by washing your hands and work surfaces before handling the water filter.

On average each Perfect Prep filter should last around 3 months, however this depends on the frequency of use and what size bottles you are preparing. The original Perfect Prep machine features a warning light which will indicate when the filter is due to be replaced and the Day & Night version will display a message on the screen. Press the start/stop button. A green light will flash, and water will be dispensed to finish the cycle. The contents should be discarded. Unique Filtration Membrane: Inside each Perfect Prep Filter there is a unique filtration membrane which removes bacteria and other contaminants that can be found in waterPress the descale button for 2 seconds and the system will run a descale process. During the descale process the red descale light will continue to flash. We only recommend you use Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Replacement Filters in the Perfect Prep machine. The filter may look a lot like other water filters but inside is a unique filtration membrane designed to remove impurities and contaminants. Most standard water filters do not include an anti-bacterial filtration membrane so will NOT remove bacteria. It is therefore extremely important to ensure that you are buying and using the correct Tommee Tippee anti-bacterial filter. Pop a container under the dispenser outlet to capture the water used to clean the system (ideally at least 1 litre capacity). The empty warning light should be off. The hot light should be on.

Listen out for the beep and the empty warning light should come on. level low warning light will illuminate once the water has flushed through the system. A red warning light on your perfect prep machine will indicate when the filter needs to be replaced; please change the filter as soon as this is indicated for your child's safety and health. This can take a few minutes.

Pour 1 litre of clear/white (food grade) vinegar into the water tank. Top up the water tank to the max line with freshly boiled water and place a suitable container under the dispenser spout.
