I know it can get very painful, looking at another pod system, and this time its another pod system from Smok. The RPM40 is a versatile machine, capable of both moderate thin-liquid MTLpuffs and big stonking clouds with the help of the RPM pods and coils and the 40W power potential.

Like the original, the RPM2 pod has no airflow adjustment. What you see is what you get so I would imagine this device is purely for a Direct Lung vape.The SMOK RPM2 Kit was sent to me for the purpose of review. VG e-liquid - best suited to sub-Ohm coils (sub-Ohm means less than 1.0Ω) and a device with variable power because you will probably need to adjust the output to achieve optimum flavour. Higher VG blends produce a lot more vapour cloud. The RPM2 kit comes with 2 pods, 2 coils, a USB-C port for charging and a massive 7ml capacity in Non-TPD format. Then you’ve got your Nord and RPM coils from SMOK. You can use these in your RPM40 kit, but they will give you a slightly different vaping experience. Compatible with the following SMOK devices (be aware to be using the correct pod if you have more than one with your kit): The Smok RPM2 isnt really suited for someone trying to quit cigarettes, but may possibly be their next step once they break the initial habit.

Some will be happy with the airflow, some would prefer a bit more restriction. But for an open Direct-Lung vape, it’s enjoyable especially with the 0.16 Mesh Coil. A little less with the 0.4 Mesh Coil. With a range of coil build options to choose from, these include the RPM Mesh 0.3 Ohm and 0.4 Ohm which produces increased cloud production with a larger surface area, the RPM Triple 0.6 Ohm which delivers for a fast ramp-up time, the 0.8 Ohm DC MTL coil as well as the RPM Quartz 1.2 Ohm and RPM SC 1.0 Ohm options for those who prefer reduced cloud creation. Just a note on compatibility, the RPM40 and RPM80 pods are different in size, but similar in style. But this does mean they are not cross-compatible with each other. And the same applies to the coils. And yes, believe it or not, its actually been almost 12 months since I reviewed the Smok RPM40 Pod Mod. So leaving it a year before releasing its bigger brother is acceptable in my opinion (If you ignore the other 6 pod mods they’ve released) Yeah its a little taller, a little wider but apart from that its designed pretty much the same, so a lot of the following details will sound very familiar. It has a respectable 1500ma battery that with most of the coils and careful use of power will last you all day. Its a shame because the flavour is quite good and the 0.4Ω Mesh coil would also be a battery saver, so its a bit of a shame.
