About this deal

The natural tone of the voice is preserved without being colored by the microphone. With its high SPL handling ability, the NT1-A is well suited to a range of recording purposes. You can use it for recording loud transients like drums and percussion, or for capturing the subtle details of an acoustic guitar. I feel the low-cut filter is best not used for vocal recording, as it noticeably affects the bottom end of the vocal range. It could be useful when using the mic as a drum overhead, though, as it often helps to roll off the bass when mixing the sound in with the predominantly middly and bassy close mics. The Samson C03 is a smart-looking mic with multi-pattern performance at a budget price. Its technical spec is more than adequate in all the areas that are important, and what really matters is that it makes a fine job of just about anything you care to point it at. You might not be able to afford to great buy half a dozen microphones for different applications if you have a tight budget. Most people cannot afford them. This is where a mic such as this comes in. I personally haven’t had anything to complain about if you can believe it. There’s not really much else to say about this thing. It’s just a solid piece of equipment. Video Review (from me!)

It doesn’t matter, and it still has a wide dynamic range. It is generally the Sound and not the numbers that matter. As we will see, however, the SPL gives it many uses. This is a significant advantage in this price range. The Extras Regardless of the pitch and timbre of your rap vocals, the SM7B will suffice. When the low cut is activated, it highlights the mid-range and treble frequencies of rap vocals. When the presence booster is engaged, it works seamlessly with high-end sound sources.

When choosing the best mic for rap vocals, it’s important to consider the specific capabilities that each model offers. Although vocal mics are fairly consistent in some aspects, there are many variables that will affect their ability to record raps.

It features a gold-plated xlr connector. This is a great addition. This prevents corrosion and ensures that there is always a good connection. A blue LED light is provided to monitor the phantom current. This is necessary because it is a condenser microphone.

As you'd expect from a mic of this price range, the Audio-Technica AT4040 captures extremely crisp vocals. Apart from being an excellent choice to capture rap vocals, this versatile model is also great for podcasting and voiceover work. This mic is perfect for recording live and producing music. This overhead drum mic is also ideal for singers who move around a lot. Although unashamedly entry-level, the C01U is quiet and clean enough to record vocals and instruments to a very acceptable standard, provided that they are close-miked, and its performance is well above that of any multimedia mics I've tested. As far as I can tell, the subjective performance of this mic is essentially the same as that of its wired counterpart, and that model has sold well for Samson. The digital noise issue will be a concern if you have a G5 tower-based studio system, but it could be argued that anyone with such a deluxe computer should be looking for a more sophisticated mic anyway! A good microphone for live vocals is the essential thing in a studio. While all sounds are essential, it’s easier to argue with that statement if vocals are your only option. A microphone with a frequency response range between 80 Hz and 15 kHz is a good choice for vocal microphones. However, you’d prefer a frequency range of around 50 Hz to 50 Hz for miking toms and snares. A low-end microphone for bass drums would be 40 Hz to 30 Hz. Conclusion

Based on a large-diaphragm Chinese-built capsule, the mic is very nicely styled and cleanly engineered, with a choice of supercardioid, omni or figure-of-eight polar patterns. Supercardioid is a bit of an odd choice for studio work, but looking at the supplied polar plots indicates that it isn't too tight — very narrow cardioid patterns can be problematic if you're working with a singer who moves around a lot. A new mic from Samson offers true capacitor design and multi-pattern operation at an extremely affordable price. A great mic should be well-built to suit a wide range of uses. The mic can be used in any environment, so it must be capable of handling that. The Samson C01 can be plugged directly into an audio interface and connected to the power source via the 48v Phantom Power Connector. After everything is correctly set up, you can test the record using your favorite DAW. That’s all! You’re done. Pros And Cons It's easy to be deceived by the small size of this model. I found that it is capable of capturing rap vocals with surprising clarity.Just in case this info might also be helpful to folks creating a studio, the entire setup I'm using now includes: I used this mic for the first time at a professional studio while recording the first EP of our band. That was quite a few years ago, so it felt incredible as soon as I heard the quality of my recorded vocals, as I was mainly used to SM57's and SM58's prior to that recording session. Despite its multi-faceted performance, the NT1-A is a vocal mic first and foremost. Due to its wide frequency range, no matter the timbre and pitch of your rapping, this mic will capture all of it.
