About this deal

Savage, she’s got a concussion and there’s some damage to her leg. She didn’t call anyone, nor did she put down anyone as an emergency number. She was just admitted. This is her room number.” Blythe pushed a folded piece of paper into her hand. He had to be right for her. He might be rough and too controlling, but he would move the world for her, if she needed it moved. The Summary Laughter was in her eyes, that totally relaxed look she got on her face whenever they were here in her home—her little cottage by the sea she loved so much. He had tried to recreate a space on the bed in his master bedroom just like hers, but he’d failed. She still wasn’t as relaxed, all tension gone, ready to tease him and play like they had for months before they made their relationship official, not in his master bedroom.

Savage Road (Torpedo Ink, book 7) by Christine Feehan Savage Road (Torpedo Ink, book 7) by Christine Feehan

It took a very unique woman to take on such a damaged man as Savage and Seychelle proved up to the task. While both possessed unique psychic abilities, their relationship was an exercise in trust building. One thing we see in this book as Savage and Seychelle move further into each other’s world is the importance Savage places on her consent. How strong and smart she is. How she can read him and has come to know her boundaries. Seychelle realizes how much power she has during their pain to pleasure intimacy. She has the control, she’s the one who says when her pain threshold is reached and when Savage needs to stop. He trusts her to know, and she trusts him to listen. And Savage will do anything to keep his word to not humiliate her and to keep her from being hurt in any way outside the pain by his hands to bring her tears and pleasure. One change I think I saw was the pain pleasure desire he felt has become more intimate, more of a bond with her alone, than just the way he needs to find release. Savage Road also brings more danger to the club, and even though she hates it, Seychelle allows her skills to be used. They need to know who is trying to kill them and why. She hates being "used" by the club when they are not telling her what is going on. The club tries to keep her involvement minimized but her skills get out and others play on her sympathies to tell them what they want to know. Even though it drains her. All these people draining her makes it even harder for her to keep up with Savage, which I thought should be like, priority number one. He shifted his weight, until both legs were on the bed and he could ease some of the strain on his groin. “Did you cry?”So excited to share that Vendetta Road was #1 on Publisher's Weekly, #2 on The New York Times and #2 on USA Today! Thank you so much for all of your continued support! Babe, told you, I was going to hell. Might as well do anything I want. And that’s mild in comparison to all the things I think about saying and doing.” That smile came out again tying his gut into tight little knots. The dimple was a turn on any way he looked at it when nothing turned him on. Her mouth? Those lips? She was lying there bruised and scraped and his body was reacting all on its own, proving he was an even bigger monster than he thought. But damn, it felt good. He hadn’t known he was capable of getting it up without commanding it first in his brain. His brain wasn’t even engaged. He had proof of that because he was still sitting on her bed.

He parked himself on the side of the bed, crowding her a little. He heard the note in her voice that told him she really didn’t like hospitals and there was a reason—a sad one. Savage was tempted to tell him he did, but he had no idea why, so he shook his head and kept going over his bike. When I first began to form the idea of Torpedo Ink, I knew it was going to be a very gritty, edgy and raw series, certainly not for everyone. In fact, at first, although I had to write the stories because I felt it was necessary, I doubted if I would ever publish them. I've since read that Annihilation Road was written to be a stand alone story for this couple where they're falling in love, and that Savage Road is the one that really delved into the issues that Savage has, and how they work as a couple as he's dealing with that. And that makes total sense, and I'm really glad that their story wasn't condensed into one book, they really needed that breathing space! New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan explores uncharted territory in the new Torpedo Ink Motorcycle Club novel. He shook his head. “You do know that something’s wrong with you. Why aren’t you screamin’ for help?” He turned abruptly and stalked out, heading for his bike, the only real thing in his world. His club. The bike. They were wrapped up together and ever since Reaper found Anya, and Savage knew he was happy, he was slowly separating himself from his brothers. He took more and more trips alone. He spent time away from the others. He talked less and less. There wasn’t a place for a man like him in the new world Czar was creating for the club. There wasn’t a place in the world for him period.

For the readers who have decided to continue the ride with Seychelle and Savage, I hope you feel that I've done their story justice. He kept his gaze on her face. It was easy to read her every expression. He moved his hand up higher, still gentle, still that light touch, stroking along her ribcage. “Are you hurt here? Bruised?”I love you, Savin Savage Pajari. I always will. That twisted part of you is what matches the twisted in me. Overall View He stroked caresses over her cheeks, those high cheekbones. Her soft mouth. Both eyes. He lingered over the dark colored bruises and then swept the pads of his fingers very lightly over the knot on her head. Ok, so I will admit, when I saw this book was coming out I did a happy dance. It was nice and close to Annihilation Road so I didn't have to wait too long for the rest of Savage and Seychelle's story. I was SO hyped after Annihilation Road that I jumped on Savage Road as soon as I could get my grubby little hands on it. Even now, I am giddy with joy over this book. If they’ve kept her, can you get her room number?” Shit. He hated to ask that. “Should probably thank her.”

He put Emily down and watched as the two girls skipped off and then he shut the door and stood there awkwardly, leaning against it. He wasn’t a talker. He left conversations to others. He was the man who took out their enemies, and he lived mostly in the shadows. Blythe was…sacred. To him. To all of them. The last thing he wanted to do was upset her in anyway. I’m trying to figure out why I struggled with this story more than last. The kink level is still top level. Once again, I must say that there are a lot of things in this book that can be considered triggering. I think this book may have even delved darker into waters that made me uncomfortable or question the usage or placement in the story. Some things are better mentioned briefly or just implied. The graphic descriptions of abuse at this time are too much and of course, I don’t want to give too much away but I had to stop this book a few times to continue. This didn’t hit my typical romance palette.I truly Love this couple. The amazing story Christine has written for them! The acceptance and trust they come to share is so beautifully written and the Torpedo Ink plotlines surrounding them and highlighting them is outstanding! They arrive at the couple they need to be, truly in love, by working through conflict and compromise, not only between them, but with Torpedo Ink. A story written in moments that bring the reader to tears at the raw truth, moments of laughter as self-discovery is made, the ah ha giddiness as the love and understanding Savage thought would never be his is right there in front of him. Savage is thrilled Seychelle has excepted and joins in his desires. That her way to find pleasure is perfect for him. That did it. At the mention of the cop, there was no way he was going to be a saint. Savage rolled and took her with him, so that she sprawled over the top of him, her sore bare ass in the air, legs on either side of his hips. Her amazing blue eyes laughed right down into his causing his heart to perform some silly weird melting sensation. He rubbed her bottom hoping she would consider that a threat. When Savin ‘Savage’ Pajari and Seychelle Dubois first met, their connection was instant, their attraction undeniable. Their relationship has been full throttle since day one. Even though months have passed, the passion and love between them has only increased. The information on housing, people, culture, employment and education that is displayed about Savage Road, Plymouth, PL5 1BP is based on the last census performed in the UK in 2021. Please tell her thank you from me as well. If you think she needs anything, let me know. I don’t like to think she’s alone in the world and needs help after saving one of ours.”
