There is no auto-pause, no button customisation, no app, no alternative latency modes. There is a little more latency than the Sonic, which is more noticeable when gaming. Single mode is initiated simply by leaving one bud in the case. Similar to its mids, the highs and treble range of this SOUNDPEATS TWS has a general relaxed style with no abrupt spikes; besides some arguably tolerable sibilance.

Battery life has been great. I wanted to see just how long these would last with my normal several hours per day listening schedule. After the first charge, I used them starting on a Saturday afternoon all the way to the middle of the next Thursday without recharging the case. This was with 4 – 6 hour average per day listening, with extra time where they were in my ears on standby when I needed to concentrate but didn’t want to have to put the earbuds away. I usually charge my earbuds every night so it’s not very often that I would need to go almost a week between full charges but it’s nice to know I could for a camping trip, for a prolonged power outage, or some other time when I just don’t need to think about needing to charge them.In conclusion. I'm really impressed with these headphones. They offer better active noise cancellation and have a flatter sound profile than the Apollo Bold's, are a fraction of the price of the Sony WF1000XM3’s and yet offer a comparable degree of noise cancelling, almost match the Lypertek Tevi’s with regard to the earbud battery life and offer a really good balance of sound quality and value for money. Highly recommended for their price. Attachments The earbuds feature an IPX5 water rating, so you can use this during an exercise without any worry about getting a bit of sweat on them. Unfortunately, there’s no companion app for these earbuds, so the touch controls are the only way to interface with the earbuds and cycle through the modes and any EQ adjustments you wish to make to the earbuds will need to be done in the app that you listen to music in. Aside from the branding on the sides, there’s not too much to look at around the earbuds. Their design is fairly simplistic, which gets the job done, and there are a couple of holes dotted around for microphones and LED indicator lights. It’s got three lights on the case that indicate the charging status and battery capacity left on the case. Once you charge these earbuds, the battery lasts about 10 hours for the earbuds and can be extended up to 30 hours using the case. The charging case for the T2 is compact and similarly sized to the competition. Like the earbuds, SoundPEATS has used plastic for the case which mostly features a matte finish but there are some glossy elements here and there for the logo as well as a glossy band across the case between the lid to break up the design. Whilst the Tronsmart Apollo Bold, Edifier TWS NB2, FIIL T1 Pro and TaoTronics SoundLiberty 94 all offered it in this form factor, the T2 perform pretty well at a fraction of the price of the first two and with better availability than the third, so if your primary goal is a budget ANC bud and you don't mind the ergonomics, the T2 are a solid choice. Holding the touchpad for 6 seconds puts the earbuds into pairing mode. Not as convenient as having multipoint (which is still few and far in TWS), but it does save the step of disconnecting to my current device. Holding the touchpad for about 10 seconds turns off both earbuds. This proves important, because the earbuds don’t power off in the case if it is depleted. The earbuds power off together but need to be powered on again individually. As I mentioned at the top, I listen to podcasts throughout the day. I can easily listen for 4-6 hours a day while working, doing household chores, or even just relaxing. Because of this, I use just one earbud so I can keep my other ear free if someone needs to get my attention or just so I can be more aware of what’s going on around me. True wireless earbuds have been a great addition to my life so I can always keep one charging, ready to go if the other one’s battery gets low, and also so I can give my ears a rest throughout the day.
