What would have made this book absolutely PERFECT would have been having the letter on the page somewhere, or bigger than the rest of the word. Highly recommend this and the sooner you check it out from your local library, the better (I worry how those delicate pages will hold up though years of public library use). One of my television songs, A SQUASH AND A SQUEEZE, was made into a book in 1993, with illustrations by the wonderful Axel Scheffler. The illustrations are stunning, and the flaps and holes in the pictures that reveal the next creative make the story so much more exciting. The illustrations are beautiful, with unique die cuts, gatefold flaps, and peek throughs on each page.
