So being that I love books, I always hoped that one day we’d get an official book discussing their career and journey as a band. The guessing game began this week when a mysteriously untitled book, scheduled for publication in July and known only as “4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023”, appeared.

The many quotes from the members themselves work well to support and legitimize the narrative, but what's really intriguing here is how the book navigates the K-Pop-typical adoration of the fandom (here: ARMY) and the downsides of this very fan service and superstardom in general: Often, the members talk about loneliness, exhaustion, depression, pain (both physical and mental), they address relentless bullying online and the loss of privacy which leads to alienation (also a huge topic of the book). It is a profound book full of experiential learning and everyone should read it at least once in their lifetime.

The book revolves around the topic of conversations and how people can learn to be more fluent and thoughtful speakers. A lot of quotes from the band members gave me deja vu, like I'd heard them in lives or interviews before. It's written in an approachable way for fans and newbies alike, and the 300+ QR-Codes added make it easy to check out content the text refers to, from songs to MVs to variety shows to interviews.
