About this deal

My biggest issue is Nikki's problems get solved so fast, everything falls apart and in the span of about 2-ish pages, all her problems are solved. This book brings back so much nostalgia from my childhood because I would always be so excited for Rachel Renee Russell's books to come out. Dork Diaries Dork Diaries: Party Time Dork Diaries: Pop Star Dork Diaries: How To Dork Your Diary Dork Diaries: Skating Sensation Dork Diaries: Dear Dork Dork Diaries: Holiday Heartbreak Dork Diaries: OMG! I would recommend this book and will definitely be reading future books in the series if/when they come out.

I feel like Nikki is definitely one of those kids who says they’re are starving children in Africa when you complain about a math test or something. My standards were not high but this actually proved to be the most boring Dork Diaries book I have ever read. I haven't read any of the others from the series, and save a couple references to characters and events, it read great as a stand alone. This spin-off series focuses on Maxwell "Max" Crumbly, the character introduced in Tales from a Not-So-Perfect Pet Sitter and, also written in diary format, his life in middle school. I started re reading the entire series in anticipation for this book, and honestly its pretty disappointing. In the fifteenth book of the mega-selling Dork Diaries series, join Nikki Maxwell as she and her friends jet off to chic Paris.

The series, written in a diary format, uses drawings, doodles, and comic strips to chronicle the daily life of its initially 14-year-old protagonist, Nikki Maxwell. Book 1 Dork Diaries has been on the New York Times Best Sellers list for 42 weeks [7] and the USA Today Best Sellers list for 7 weeks. I liked the art style change and it was fun learning about all the places Nikki went to on this trip.I liked the layout and illustrations in this book and I think many young readers will enjoy this installment of the Dork Diaries series. One thing that I have really noticed that makes this book a little different than her past books is the fact that the drawing as a little bit more mature towards the end, and I don't know if this is because Nikki talks about wanting to draw a lot of fashion, Rachel's daughter has really advanced her drawing skills since the first couple of books, or a little of both. Book 15 was originally scheduled to be published on October 13, 2020, but was later delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Book 3 Dork Diaries: Pop Star has been on the New York Times Best Sellers list for 28 weeks [11] and the USA Today Best Sellers list for 28 weeks. Marcy is Mackenzie's assistant fashion director for the newspaper, but is bullied by Mackenzie, and is deemed to be unfashionable by the latter.Nikki can't wait to learn new art styles, practice her French and explore the most romantic city in the world with her crush Brandon. I loved Dork Diaries and book 15 definitely had that it factor I loved seeing the famous landmarks like the Catacombs, the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre Museum it’s like visiting Paris through reading. There is a fun Brianna magician story that I enjoyed but otherwise I feel the first part of the book could be condensed into a week.
