Good Morning Britain viewers demand Richard Madeley be dropped as he asks guest who lost 21 relatives when their house was bombed in Gaza: 'How close were you to your brothers?

Yet if Mordaunt becomes prime minister, and Lewis advises her on communications, who knows what might happen? They continue that it is “much easier to fixate on the slave traders of the last century [sic: the slave trade was abolished long before the last century] than the plight of young, black gay men sleeping rough on London’s streets”, and that is “much easier to talk about ‘white privilege’ than address why white working class boys have the worst education attainment of any social group in the UK”. It should applaud the authors for addressing the breakdown of “generational trust” that makes young people “poorer than their parents and grandparents”, because old Tories die and need to be replaced. Good Morning Britain viewers demand Richard Madeley be dropped as he asks guest who lost 21 relatives when. Yet there is much that will have the faithful cheering and which, were she able to implement it, would make Mordaunt an ideal prime minister in their eyes.

As a new era of US leadership dawns, this is a timely blueprint for what Global Britain should be all about. She suggested sending Civil Service high-flyers on the fast-track scheme out of Whitehall to local communities 'where their talent can be used more productively'. It’s a hugely entertaining read that tackles some vital questions, including how we can reunite our polarised country and how our local communities can become even stronger. What comes to mind is the inane waffle that pads out the word count; words for the sake of words, the literary equivalent of filibustering. Horrific video shows subway carriage chanting 'F*** the Jews, long live Palestine, we are Nazis and proud'.

The parts that are potentially interesting or worth reading are utterly drowned by a relentless deluge of shallow cultural commentary, tedious rehashes of already stale arguments, groan-inducing attempts at humour, and excessively long lists. Britain is an old country and, like the authors, there are still many who are proud of its history and traditions. On the positive side – having been optimistic about combating climate change, because renewables are plentiful – Mordaunt highlights what she believes will be rare instead: “The new scarcities in an age of values will be consistency, trust, justice, accountability, altruism, reliability, and nobility of cause and purpose. One of his competitors describes him as “the real deal… a charismatic and successful influencer and businessman with offices around the world”. Although the book implies a belief in the enabling rather than the interventionist state, it is never explicit who or what would do the planning.

Mordant once thought it a jolly jape to take a bet to see if she could sneak a four-letter vulgarity into a Commons speech. The book, co-authored by multi-millionaire PR guru Chris Lewis, also carried endorsements from Bill Gates, Sir Richard Branson and Sir Elton John. JLS fans go wild as boyband announces new tour dates for summer 2024: 'This just gave me goosebumps!Featuring a foreword by Elton John, Greater is a manifesto for hope and optimism, a guide for the future in times that are not nearly as troubled and crisis ridden as many would have us believe. And, if Britain is to avoid such toxic polarisation as we read daily is undermining America and which threatens France, a prime minister who is not sectarian, but wishes to maximise the potential of our human capital irrespective of ideology, would be a good start.
