About this deal

Hvorfor har min router ikke signal, selvom indikatoren for netværksstatus lyser cyan, blåt eller gul? Honestly, now that 5G is in full swing there is no benefit to the -65a in the UK/Europe as no new 4G bands are going to be certified. Though something I saw google come up with for other kit suggests Auto-update is always on in later firmwares of some kit.

It seems happy enough to sit on Band 3 most of the time, but sometimes switches to Band 20, which is much slower, so I've disabled that band in the settings. Whereas the B535 sitting about 90cm away on the same windowsill, connects to the same cell (1148231) at '4G+' speed. I am using a 525 with firmware for bridging and VOIP on a 3 sim card, getting 55mb download with external antenna and 2m of SMA cable. HUKD persuaded me to go with the 3 MBB, and this place persuaded me to get the B525 - so here's my go at giving something back. I have been using the LTEWatch tool to try and figure out what 'good looks like' as I am new to all this.On the other hand, I'm testing openmptcprouter which effectively turns any modem/router into a bridge mode device by tunnelling past it.

I won't be purchasing anything from Livewire again and I don't recommend you do if you want any support in the future.

It also includes a USB port, Ethernet LAN ports (5 RJ-45 ports), and an RJ-11 port, providing multiple options for wired connections. It was obviously all conducted under controlled conditions with clipboards, lab coats and everything.

The 65a has more bands however the 23a covers I believe all current 4G bands so the 65a in lieu of 5G is no longer required. In terms of compatibility, the Huawei B525 can be used with 3G/4G USB modems, enabling users to connect to the internet using mobile networks. I should add that although I am in the suburbs of a city the signals here are not very good and the side of the house where I have been testing has a lot of huge Beech trees that are all in leaf at the moment which may not help. I still have a Local Update button, so I could probably revert to the firmware I had, but this one has a nicer UI and it seems to work no worse than the last. However when putting the Huawei into Bridge Mode I can't seem to access any internet services anymore.

hoopla oh I see, thanks for description, so this is perfectly normal firmware update not some ROM writing or data checking buffors, you just cant do a firmware (original) backup, but you can (if it will be available) flash it back. We’ve mentioned three of the main alternatives elsewhere in this review – the Three 5G Hub, the Three 4G Hub, and the 4GEE Home Router 2. with mobile phones storming ahead with 5CA, and routers lagging, are there good budget options of phones that could be used as dedicated hotspots (for a small config - just tv/ipad/laptops)? MIMO is PERFECT for you, and money thrown at the B618 will yield no improvement in speed; put the saving towards an antenna. Obviously, I know the shortcomings of these kinds of tests but thought it was worth a share for anyone considering paying the extra for the B618.

I have not yet had the time to do anything like a comparative test but I have tried it with a variety of antennas including the two it was supplied with. Hi, I tried disconnecting using the 'green-arrow' button on the router home page and waiting 30secs or so, but it always just reconnected to the same cell (1148231) at '4G' speed. And then Ofcom allowed the networks to run anything (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) on ANY spectrum they have license for. But the combination will work for some masts, I already have 3 and 20, so does the mast get 1 or 32, seems the B715 will cope with both possibilities.

As we know, the Huawei B525 is already available for the network provider “Play” and “Telenor” in Europe.
