It was really nice to read a mystery novel that has some happiness to it after a very sad story overall. Quickly paced yet delicately nuanced, this novel is sure to appeal to fans of Big Little Lies and The Woman in Cabin 10. I found the characters to be well developed and I was surprised by how emotional the ending made me.
