The walker isn't entirely "battle pack filler" schlock--it's actually a better scale that some of those other walkers in more "real" sets. I didn't notice *any* BIONICLE-esc imagery or concepts in the mainline Star Wars films, Clone Wars, or Rebels, but ever since Resistance/Mando every few episodes there's a "hey wait a minute" moment that has me convinced some Bonk fan has wormed their way into the art department.
