About this deal

My 9-year-old daughter devoured it in two nights, and all I could hear from her was giggling and the occasional "Mum!

The Catastrophic Friendship Fails of Lottie Brooks (Lottie

Lottie Brooks is back for spring term at secondary school, and with her best friends, Jess and Molly, at her side, she can face anything. After she finished it she came to me to talk about growing up, puberty etc and was v open about her worries and questions.

Extremely Embarrassing Life of Lottie Brooks - Audible UK Extremely Embarrassing Life of Lottie Brooks - Audible UK

The first book in the hilarious new series for children by the best-selling creator of Hurrah for Gin . there's a Secret Santa to organise, and the hammies won't stop attacking Gavin, the Elf on the Shelf!

Lottie Brooks is BACK for more extremely embarrassing adventures as she goes on holiday and gets her very first boyfriend! lihtsad ja huumorile rõhuvad, aga Lottie Brooks võlus mind esimese raamatuga koheselt ja siin lähevad asjad veel paremaks.

The Catastrophic Friendship Fails of Lottie Brooks by Katie

To answer your question - not a new favourite chocolate as such, but in book two Lottie discovers Bubble Tea and gets rather obsessed with it. Will Lottie survive the festivities intact or will she have to hide in the fort of shame until it's all over? The whole Brooks family are visiting for the festive break, there's a Secret Santa to organise AND Lottie has to prepare for her big performance in the Christmas play as the back-end of a reindeer. Plus it does not resonate with my pre-teen self as much as others claim due to cultural differences, but it totally can and i honestly and fully enjoyed it, read it in one evening (very late evening) and am very tempted to reach for what the author offers for adults. Sometimes when I’m writing I will think ‘Ahhh that would make an excellent picture’ but other times I have the ideas for the pictures when I read it all back. Many people said her sense of humour was silly and immature so she is now having a bash at writing children's fiction. No amount of coaxing about the utter joy of a book had worked before, but Katie has managed to capture what this group think and feel in a positive, gently parent-mocking, life-affirming fashion. Written in the form of a diary, Lottie’s musings show how awkwardness is essentially a learning experience and almost no one gets through their teenage years without at least a few mortifying moments.
