So I wouldn’t get your hopes up if you’re a PowerBlocks user… Can You Use MonkeyFeet For Knees Over Toes/ATG Training? This small but mighty tool can be an excellent option for those who can’t fit large machines in their home gym space. Before MonkeyFeet came along, you’d have to use an ankle attachment with a cable pully machine to get an equivalent stimulus – and so it was virtually impossible to isolate the hip flexors from home. They don’t take up any extra space, and if you have dumbbells, they allow for a large number of exercises.Since you can clip on a dumbbell of any weight, the pre-weighed ankle weights you may have lying around your home gym are most likely obsolete now. So if you’re interested in becoming a freak athlete, you should be collecting as many glute exercises as possible!
The strap also inhibits the range of motion slightly and overall this is just a very clunky way of training tibs.I’ve created a great big list of MonkeyFeet exercises so you can get a feel for what sorts of things you can do with it. Certain calisthenic skill progressions, like the L-Sit and V-Sit, can also be improved with Monkey Feet. In doing so, it opens the door to dozens of leg and core training movements usually reserved for machines. Now if you have a different size shoe, use different Straps, and/or use a different size Carabiner - I CANNOT GUARANTEE this option will be right for you. However, since you’d only be able to work one leg at a time, your workouts may take longer than usual — something to consider if you’re often in a time crunch.
