About this deal

I adored being inside Josie’s head, and it wasn’t until I got to the very end that I realized that her head was actually broken. this book is full of unreliable narrators and characters who all have their secrets and hidden agendas and it’s so interesting to dive into everyone’s psyche. Lisa is a top ten New York Times and number one Sunday Times bestselling author who has been published worldwide in over twenty-five languages.

Some people could read the ending to be ambiguous or open; a lot of people have read it as I intended it to be — not ambiguous or open — which is Josie finally confronting the truth in her head of what actually happened. Lisa Jewell is an incredibly talented storyteller, as she can really take the odd day-to-day occurrences and entwine them with clear and concise character development, giving birth to novels that allow the reader to fully engage with the cast of characters, no matter if they are likable or despicable. All is revealed when Alix becomes the subject of a true crime podcast to be featured in a Netflix documentary in 2020.Have you read None of This is True by Lisa Jewell and are looking for a plot summary, a list of characters, or a place to discuss all your thoughts and questions? While I can’t agree that Josie didn’t do anything wrong, reading your comments has made me see that some of what she says (or thinks) is true.

I have to say that if I had covered up a murder five years ago, the very LAST thing I’d want to do would be to go on a podcast to talk about breaking free from my past. Her novels have sold over10 million copiesinternationally, and her work has also been translated into twenty-nine languages.

For the rest, it boils down to the reader’s ability and/or willingness to ignore certain aspects of the story. Set in London, it introduces the concept of ‘birthday twins’: two people connected because they share the same birthday. I read this in day which I am deliberately not doing any more, because this was such a captivating read and a great book overall. I simply could not leave it alone, and had to keep reading until I'd reached the heart-stopping conclusion.
