The size of the tent inside is quite tight at 180cm wide, however, this should be adequate to accommodate 3 people and their camping mats.

The weather was changeable (this is Scotland in February), but that couldn’t dampen the stunning view across the Loch to the snow capped mountains in the distance. A couple of minor downsides I found are the standard guy lines are really thin and found other people at the campsite kept tripping over them so I changed them with thicker and brighter lines and the light hanging hook in the inner tent is down by your feet. The guy lines are a shade of burnt orange, and the combination of all these makes for a very attractive package you might want to take on a camping date.This would probably need to be divided up between the 2 of you if you are hiking to your camping spot. If you want a tent that packs down small and doesn’t weigh too much (3kg), this tent would be a good choice. Length is where you gain in this tent, with the overall tent measuring 400cm, of which 230cm is in the bedroom area.

The Coyote III is the largest OEX Tent in the Tiso range, and is fast becoming a firm staff favourite. If you are after something that offers good protection from pretty much any UK weather, this tent could be ideal for you.With a hydrostatic head of 6,000mm for the groundsheet and 5,000mm for the fly, there is very little that could penetrate this tent.

Overall this is a great tent for those looking for a trusted brand with a high level of weatherproofing. I decided it was time to invest in a 3 man tent to do the job for us and thought I would share what I found.
