Purtroppo non è così: Jacks non gode di un proprio POV, e la sua presenza nel libro - sebbene non sia esigua - non gli permette di assumere la dignità di co-protagonista. The ending of OUABH made me immediately start The Ballad of Never After, and a lot of you know what happened to me when I finished that book… I am obsessed with this series for the foreseeable future. Hi, hello, my name's Evangeline and I have like, pink hair and like, let's just free my ex from the clutches of a supernatural creature and like, pretend he's not going to kill me or anything.Probably a good place to start if you are wanting to get into a ‘softer’ fantasy read and I can’t wait to read the next instalment. The plot of this story, moved at the pace of me trying to go to the bathroom in a socially awkward situation. The world wasn’t confusing, the characters were intriguing and still had plenty of twists and turns, never knowing who to trust. Literally, it’s so good that I read it TWO TIMES in a row whilst waiting for the arrival of the paperback copy of the second instalment of the series.

Those steamy scenes really did make up for them because oh hollyyyyy nighhhhttttt- I was drenched in sweat.The story follows Evangeline's quest to find her own happily ever after - fully convinced that it's out there, somewhere. This story takes place after the events of Finale, so new readers can happily read this one without prior knowledge of the original series, but as a fan of the series, I’d still recommend them! Love him without holding back, love him as if every day with him will be more magical than the last, love him as if he’s your destiny and the world will be better if you two are together, and he won’t be able to ever stop loving you.
