About this deal

The Qanba Drone 2 is officially licensed and PlayStation compatible, with a touchpad and PS5 home button on the top. This clear QanBa 24mm snap-in arcade button features a built in blue 5V LED and once connected, this illuminates the surround of the plunger, as well as the button surround to give a cool blue glow effect.

Qanba's newest generation of joysticks aim to deliver tournament-grade components and Qanba’s signature high-quality exterior design. The Mad Catz Ego comes kitted out with Sanwa Denshi ball-top joystick (seated in an eight-way gate) and action buttons. It has a storage compartment for the USB cable, and it includes the crucial Tournament Lock switch to keep you from accidentally hitting a single button that gets you disqualified. The Titan joystick is the perfect joystick for players who want to take their game to the next level with tournament tested Sanwa parts. The HORI PlayStation Fighting Stick Alpha 5 is a commendable choice for those looking to improve their PlayStation gaming sessions and want to take things up a notch without spending too much either. friendly Smash Box (compatible with PC and GameCube) and Cross|Up (a hybrid controller with a fight stick and directional buttons). There are quite a few officially licensed PS5 arcade sticks out now, and its very welcome to see Qanba partner with Sony to ensure compatibility, rather than having to rely on Brook converters. Though that may take getting used to, there are advantages, including a quicker input speed–milliseconds matter in fighting games—along with better accuracy and easier execution of certain moves.

A nice ball-top joystick can make the difference between reliably pulling off quarter circles and never figuring out the near-ubiquitous move. While not as flashy as other higher-end sticks, the Drone still serves its purpose as a great beginner stick. Comparatively, Taeyoung Fanta and other Korean-made fight sticks usually come sporting a circle-shaped gate and rubber grommet. It's built on sturdy metal chassis that immediately makes it stand out from the crowd, not to mention the purple glow that comes out on each side.

It's that arcade-style feel of gripping a lollipop- or baseball bat-style joystick in one hand and manipulating buttons with the other that draws people to adopting fight sticks. Gamers can easily tailor their experience by modifying the joystick’s restrictor gate, adjusting the button layout, and personalizing the fight stick with custom artwork. Even the best Xbox Series X and PS5 controllers likely won't do if you're trying to pull off sick combos in Street Fighter 6. The best fight sticks have trusty joysticks that let you put your whole hand and arm into each movement, not relying on just your thumb to pull off the complex and quick movements of arcade fighting games.

Hori is perhaps the best-known fight stick manufacturer, but it isn't the only company worth your time and dollar. If you can afford it, elevate your fighting game prowess with the Victrix Pro PDP Arcade Fight Stick and experience the difference of a truly premium product. If you download the Hori Device Manager app, you can adjust the Alpha's button configuration and create up to four different profiles—an excellent option if you play multiple games.Outside of that, this I can't help but recommend this controller, and if you're iffy on actually using one to avoid something like the Titan or Obsidian 2, but still want PS5 compatibility, I would go for this.
