When a player discards a known card, we know that the card that the face up card they discarded was greater in value than the card they kept.

Most kids (even some younger than the recommended ages of six and up) should be able to learn and play the game quite easily. If a "Swap" card is drawn, the player may switch one of his or her cards with one of any other player's cards. If a player elects to grab the card from the discard pile, they MUST use it to replace one of their cards (either one of the two outer cards which they know the value of or one of the two unknown middle cards). The player to the left of the dealer has the first turn, and play continues in a clockwise direction. The Swap Power Cards allow the player to swap any of one of their cards with one of another players.

When taking a card from the discard pile, the player must replace one of own face-down cards with that card, then put the replaced card face-up into the discard pile.

As it is, all you really need to do is remember one number (like 4,310 if the first card is a four, the second card a three, etc.
