The Theta Z1 shooting higher quality images in terms of appearance, thanks to the 1 Inch sensors and RAW mode. When comparing the Auto HDR images from the Z1 with the Theta X they seem to be of similar quality however the Theta X images are sharper thanks to the much higher resolution.
