The RAC 900 is a 30Amp machine, hence if on full load is 3 times over a "ciggy lighter's" rating as cyberyacht points out. We also liked tyre compressors with easy-to-read gauges, and digital gauges seemed to fare particularly well. The RAC-900 took 42 seconds to inflate the tyre from 50psi (48psi on the pumps's gauge) to 60psi (60psi on the pump's gauge).
