The drone itself has a considerably straightforward design and is foldable, making it easier to transport it around. I have tried to touch screen icon on my app that says cards needs formatting, couldn't get it to respond i will try cleaning my screen real good because icon on app is tiny. One thing I found strange is that the carry case handle is on the bottom of the carry case, so to speak, meaning it's pretty easy for everything to fall out of it if you forget to zip it all the way up. But I’ve not had a chance yet to put this to the test and you’d have to contact Ruko support for other parts.

It will, of course, erase any contents on the card, and I haven’t tested/flown it yet, but the app now seems to say it’s all good to go! Jumping from this 9 m/s speed to the sport mode’s 12 m/s there’s not a huge difference but it is noticeable. This is dependent on the pitch of the camera, and there's less when the camera is pointing forwards and more when it has been tilted downwards.a. In the default mode (Beginner Mode), the flying altitude and distance will be limited to 30 meters. The Ruko F11 Gim 2 drone can be used both indoors and outdoors, but once you’ve begun using it, it’s suggested that you take your time getting acquainted with the controls.

Further testing is required to see if the drone can actually fly close enough to the claimed 3km maximum distance. By default the gimbal looks straight ahead but you can adjust it to point almost directly downwards – around 80°. These add one extra battery at each step (3B: three batteries, 4B: four batteries) and other accessories like a landing mat. Although I really would have liked faster charging – ideally I’d want to be able to charge a spare battery while I’m flying with the other battery.
The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the drone paired with the controller and phone easily.

If you have a lot of content it’ll be quicker to remove the card from the drone and use a microSD card reader. I didn’t fly it in very windy conditions but I still felt confident controlling it in a stiff breeze which is one advantage of a slightly heavier drone like this. Both batteries arrived with around 50% charge, so you’ll need to charge them completely before your first flight. The drone’s brushless motors help it achieve its respectable battery life and although it’s still quite noisy if you’re near to it I’ve heard far louder drones. The 2-axis gimbal relies on Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) to stabilize video on the third axis.
