For example, if your fertiliser recommends an application rate of 20g/m² and your test area is 10m², you will want to measure out 200g of fertiliser. Because the outer edges of each strip receive slightly less granules than the centre, we recommend overlapping the strips by approximately 30cm (1ft). Once you’ve covered the entire test area, you will need to check how much fertiliser you have left in the spreader. The Scott EasyGreen Rotary Spreader throws the granules evenly in front of the moving spreader, covering a broad strip approximately 3 metres (10 feet) wide - so you can quickly treat large lawns, paddocks, orchards evenly and accurately. The Scotts EasyGreen Rotary Spreader features a hand on/off switch and large spreading width of between 122-340cm.Once you reach the test area, turn on the spreader and continue to walk at the same consistent pace. Most of our products for sale in the UK will be delivered by being transported by a pallet courier that primarily uses 18-tonne rigid trucks that are built for reaching the majority of UK addresses. Please note – we do not recommend using this spreader for Shadesman Seed due to the small size of seed.

Start a couple of metres back from the test area and begin walking at a normal pace pushing your spreader in front of you. Repeat this test until you achieve the correct rate and then make a note of this setting for future reference.
