The Samhain and Yule decks have already been released, and this is their latest, celebrating the May festival of Beltane. The accompanying guidebook features original poetry from Juliet Diaz of November Sage that doubles as invocations for magick and ritual. I love that these decks all follow a similar style, with Giada Rose’s illustrations, and the words from Lorriane and Juliet, yet they are so unique in their themes and overall vibe. The Earth's energies are at their strongest and most active, where all of life is bursting with potent fertility.She particularly enjoys fairytales from around the world, and strives with her paintings to create a portal into stillness and a tinge of nostalgia for a magical place and a bygone time.

Juliet Diaz is a bruja, seer and spiritual activist, is an Indigenous Taino Cubana from a long line of curanderos (healers) and brujas on both sides of her parents’ lineages. She is heavily influenced by her diverse lineage, bringing together healing practices from her ancestors in a practical, updated way. Some of the invocations don’t resonate with me, they feel a bit like word salad, but I do find the descriptions within the guidebook serve me better, and from there, I can craft my own invocation if necessary. This gorgeous deck is filled with poetry, readings styles, and in-depth divination to unlock the spirit of the night and channel the energy when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. At the time of posting (June 2nd) 2022), there’s no word yet on which sabbat the next deck will represent, or when it's due for release.Her other works include: Witchery, Plant Witchery and her most recent and what she considers her most important work The Altar Within, which I am desperately interested in reading.
