I liked the story because it had a good theme and it was interesting to read to find out what was going to happen. The crocodile begins by not allowing anyone to drink from the river and makes everyone scared of him after he threatens them. This book uses many great words that could be discussed as a vocabulary lesson: such as selfish, peeked, appeared, chattered, brave, crept, hush, astonished, enormous and invitation etc.

The story is a very pleasant and engaging story since it has colouful pictures and diologues children could say in different voices according to the animal saying it which makes it an interactive book. All In all, being selfish will only make you feel lonely, and you won’t have anyone to ask for help when you need it most.
