Those of us who don’t like “V-shaped” frequency responses, but do like a little more bass and midrange emphasis than what studio headphones offer will mostly enjoy the sound of the HD 599. You can use the HD 599 for critical listening, but you may find the sound is not studio grade enough to rely on it for accuracy.
