It's like if three years after the semi-realistic "Air Bud: Spikes Back", the creators probably stopped caring about what the franchise is all about and decided to put in talking Golden Retriever puppies, lame fart jokes and less sports. The plots are coherent, they have some legit jokes kids and adults will find funny, and the cinematography and effects aren't awful.

With the help of their new pals Spudnick (voiced by Jason Earles) and Gravity, these pooches are go for launch. The film ends with Sputnik back at home with his old owner, Sasha, who says that "it is the journey and friendship that matters the most".

My son loves all things space, and this little astronaut looks adorable on his shelf; but the real treat is the light display. Disney stopped making direct to video animated sequels at this point but they still had some awful live-action ones left.Best of all, it comes packed with a library of nebular cloud colors and formations that you can choose from. I don't like the argument that you should lower your standards just because it's something made for kids. While in space, the buddies meet up with a Russian dog named Spudnick who wants to see his young owner Sasha but is stuck with Sasha's immature stereotype father named Yuri.
