North part of Bengaluru has a new place to visit none other than The Irish House who have opened their space in Yelahanka RMZ Mall. The Iced Cappuccino was very different in terms of it's taste, we felt the amount of coffee used was a little too much for our comfort as it was super strong, and the amount of ice used was over the top as well. Today the Irish House Museum has displays on the History of Limpopo area cultural groups and some archaeological finds from nearby sites, these include pottery, woodwork, weaving, ceramic, glasswork, rock art, cast iron.The restaurant has a different ambience altogether with lots of young people, loud music , antique pieces to give an Irish look and serves. I majorly loved the drinks menu also for a reason that the restaurant has not populated the menu with smoky drinks like other restaurants, here at Irish one can enjoy a variety of great alcoholic strength drinks. The interors have big screens all around making it a best experience to watch live match screenings over some drinks. The first bite allowed the warm cheese to drip off the stick, also the inside was very smooth which went great with the creamy ranch.One must their burrito bowls if you're looking for something on the Mexican front but if you're looking somewhere on lines of pasta and fries one must go for some gooey Mac and cheese fries they are simply scrumptious. Being a seafood lover i went straight away for the highly recommended Drunken Prawns which were crispy crumb fried prawns on sticks. it was a bummer coz chicken wings is a safe dish that can hardly go wrong but here it went pretty wrong. Yeah and the restaurant worker in black jacket also tried to setup a blind date with another family. value for money, the portion size sucks, they are charging 400 rupees for 20 pieces of French fries, we ate almost 3 dishes along with beer and still not full.
Hoping to drop soon as now added in my one of the Favourite Pub with huge collection of Beers around the world. Having booked ourselves at the Fairfield by Marriott next door, we wandered in for drinks and dinner. a 1+1 offer until 8pm on alcohol meaning 2x500ml of kingfisher works out at 515 rupees including taxes. The sauce was smooth and perfect, the pasta was cooked properly, and one can enjoy this dish with no complaints.The minced up fries and the beer can roast chicken were both very good and were appropriate for a pub menu. I had the fish and chips not like those in the UK as there is chilli in the batter but it really works. Armagh Mushroom Bites- Toasted mini brioche buns stuffed with mushroom in a creamy sauce… was delicious. This place has extremely loud and jarring music that can be heard outside the premises and almost in the club right next to it.
