Having worked for Southern Service Paws for a few years now, I like to think I'm prepared for just about any client meeting under the sun. There are also a lot of really good one-liners and quotes and so many food references (which, if you know me, you know these things also make me extremely happy). Just like her other books, I loved the story and the characters and this book is equal fun and cute.

If you're tired and had a rough day and only have one functioning brain cell left to use, definitely give this a read.June thinks his current show of interest is nothing more than the continuation of the games they played in high school. She mentions her therapist but she never actually GOES to therapy in the book, partly because it all seems to occur over maybe a two or three week period of time. Even though she didn’t have a good relationship with her parents, it was nice to see Evie find her chosen family.

There was great tension between the characters which caused me to stay up too late and devour this book.
