About this deal

When choosing a plant, you shouldn’t select one purely for its visual appeal - your choice should primarily be informed by the conditions you can offer that plant within your home. For years I've been rescuing plants destined for the bin and documenting their recovery to show that with a little extra care these plants will flourish and thrive. There is an awful lot of misinformation online so I make sure and deliver content that is based on practical experience not gimmicks.

You will also find out why a good potting mix can combat ‘overwatering’, and how to repot your plants.

The more complaints a retailer gets, the more inclined they are to throw away healthy plants just because they don’t look 'perfect'. Sometimes plants might arrive with pests - we do our best to check, treat and inspect everything on arrival and departure from Sprouts but sometimes things are missed. By the end, you will feel confident enough to tend to a troubled houseplant, rather than throwing it out and replacing it with a new one, and you will have discovered how to mix different soils, repotted some of your plants (if you like!
